SETTING UP EMAIL: OTHER DEVICES

We don't have specific step-by-step instructions for you if you don't use Microsoft Outlook or an iPhone/iPad. However the settings are the same, whatever your device or software.

You'll need to get into the email account settings, either to set up a new account or to switch an existing account to the secure connection. Some of these are likely to be under Advanced settings.

List of settings if you're setting up a new account or modifying a POP account

Account type: POP3

Incoming mail server

Host: mail.wowiwa.net
Port: 995
Secure: YES or SSL

Outgoing mail server

Host: mail.wowiwa.net
Port: 465
Secure: YES or SSL

Authentication

Username: this needs to be your full email address, not just the bit before the @
Your password (You have this)
Use Secure Password Authentication (SPA): NO
Outgoing server requires authentication with the same settings (username/password) as incoming server.

List of settings if you're modifying an IMAP account

Account type: IMAP

Incoming mail server

Host: mail.wowiwa.net
Port: 993
Secure: YES or SSL

Outgoing mail server

Host: mail.wowiwa.net
Port: 465
Secure: YES or SSL

Authentication

Username: this needs to be your full email address, not just the bit before the @
Your password (You have this)
Use Secure Password Authentication (SPA): NO
Outgoing server requires authentication with the same settings (username/password) as incoming server.
